Some of your fellow technical writers, editors, illustrators, and others in
Southern California's Inland Empire are forming a new chapter of the
international Society for Technical Communication (STC). We'd be pleased
to have you join us at the first-ever chapter meeting of the Inland Empire
STC (IESTC) on Thursday, June 18.
June Kickoff Meeting Speaker: Electronic Publishing Guru John Sands
Electronic publishing authority John L. Sands will discuss the current
state of CD-ROM publishing and the latest developments in the newest disc
format, Digital Versatile Disc (DVD). A multimedia and CD-ROM pioneer
whose background encompasses radio, television, the recording industry, and
the Internet, Mr. Sands is a dynamic speaker who is highly sought after by
professional and trade organizations. He speaks regularly at software
manufacturing conferences in North America, Europe, and Asia, and has been
active in the STC's Orange County chapter since 1993.
