I have not posted to the list in almost a year, but I have a
question. A little background first. I am Techical Publications
Manager. I currently use a Pentium 90 w/ 32M RAM and a 15" Monitor.
I use the following software packages Windows 3.1, PageMaker 5.0, Corel Perfect Office Suite
6.1, Freehand 5.0, Photoshop 4.0, and other various packages. I
write and desktop publish manuals, presentations, proposals,
brochures, datasheets, etc. The whole nine yards.

I am soon going to upgrade to Windows NT workstation so I can upgrade to PM 6.5,
Corel Perfect Office 7.0, etc

Can some of you recommend the resonable minimum hardware configuration I should
be using to accomodate the software upgrades mentioned. I realize I
could use a 486/66, but that is not reasonable. Also does anyone
know if PM, Photoshop,WP, etc will work faster by continually
increasing the RAM or is processor speed equally important.

Thank you in advance for your input.
