Transarc Corporation is a leading developer of distributed system software

The technical writer is responsible for planning, designing, and producing
high quality software documentation that teaches our customers how
to develop and manage distributed application systems.
Other responsibilities include developing effective examples and
graphics to illustrate the technology, ensuring accuracy and
usability through testing, conducting technical and editorial reviews,
and preparing the final hardcopy and online documentation for production.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong writing and technical skills,
including experience in a programming language, and will possess a degree in
technical writing (or a related discipline). This position requires 2+
years experience developing technical documentation. Experience with UNIX,
distributed systems, or transaction processing is highly desirable.
