Sure you can. Here are two ways:

1. Use the 'master document' feature -- see the manual or online help
for step by step procedures. No need to manually number pages at all.

2. If the master document feature doesn't feel right, create a master
doc and use the 'insert field' command to embed the file name of each
subdocument. In this case you must update fields manually.
