I have always switched in a different layout for different media.
Currently, I do more print than online, so switch in a different layout for
online. Before, I did more online than print, so I switched in a different
layout for print.

I have, though, done away with recto pages entirely and now only use
right-hand ones to start my chapter ;).

Cheers and grins,

Sean
