One note on this thread -- If you decide to include
humor in a cover letter or resume, at least be sure
that it's actually YOUR humor.
Some of the items that have been thrown around on this
topic are actually hanging on my wall now as humorous
clippings.
Jokes are funny... plagiarism less so.
