After learning that arthritis (hereditary in my family) first attacks joints
that have experienced trauma, including surgery, I started looking for
noninvasive methods.
Acupuncture works well for me. I also use increased dosages of Vitamin B6.
Comfrey is good for joints as it contains allantoin (rub it on externally as
a salve -- do not take internally). Finally, St. John's Wort is good for
nerve trouble.
Definitely, however, see an herbalist or naturopath (or talk to an
acupuncturist if you decide to go that way) before self-treating.
Good luck!
Thanks,
Phila
