TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
We are pleased to announce that the new "e-zine" InFrame will be making its
debut next month. This e-zine will focus on the Adobe technical writing
software package, FrameMaker. While we may have contacted many of you
individually for content submissions, we are open to any and all writers
submitting content on a topic of interest to the larger FrameMaker user
community, from basic to advanced. "Content" includes articles, tips, how
to's, tutorials, case studies, and anything else that might be of interest
to FrameMaker users. We welcome all submissions.
If you are interested in submitting any kind of content, please REPLY
OFF-LIST to my colleague (not a current TECHWR-L List member) at:
paul -dot- k -dot- schulte -at- medtronic -dot- com
InFrame is a web-based magazine focused on the FrameMaker technical writing
community and has no subscription fee and, at this point, is a pure
volunteer effort by three people: Paul K. Schulte, the Production Manager,
Larry D. Polk, the Production Designer, and me, the Publisher/Managing
Editor.
If you have any questions related to InFrame, besides submission questions,
please address them to me at the following address:
inframe -at- haysdesign -dot- com
(This is just a temporary address until the InFrame servers are set up.)
Thanks for your interest and we will keep you all informed as to our
progress and the permanent URL and email addresses of InFrame.
