Summary:
We have a six-month contract opening for an
accomplished technical writer to change the style,
reorganize the content, update the information,
copyedit, and proof a microwave radio product manual.
The writer must also edit, create, and layout illustrations.
We need someone who can work independently,
respond quickly, and produce high-quality copy.
Requirements:
Have a background in telecommunications hardware
Know some digital and analog (RF) circuitry
Read engineering documentation (assemblies, schematics, BOMs, and ECs)
Use Windows NT, MS Word, Freehand, AutoCad/Lt 97, and Visio
Have broad English-language skills
Edit and organize complex content
Work with current documentation styles
