I think the objection to posting private email is against posting other
people's private email. If for instance, Sean had posted to the list Mr.
Green's reply, then Green's permission would be warranted and the villagers
justified. However, Sean has every right to post his own words, just as if
he had cc'd the list originally, and the only issue is how rude he wants to
be in public.
