Hello.
One of the worst aspects of using frames in a commercial website is that most
major search engines cannot find them. You have to make sure you put in
</NOFRAME> text with links to your other pages, or they will not be traced by
web crawlers or anything else.
I guess in an intranet environment, most of the bad things about frames are
irrelevant. However, tables certainly seem to do the job just as well,
especially with the new HTML 4 tags.
