If I understand you, what your developer wants to do is to have you change
the mapping codes for context-sensitive help to the codes she uses in
the products, rather than use the ones that Robohelp has generated for
you. These codes need to have some relationship to each other in order
for the context-sensitive help to work correctly.
I would make the change. It's probably harder for her to change the
code than it is for you to add these codes to your help, and this way,
the developer can feed you a code every time he/she makes a change to
the software.
You could also edit the .hh file to set the developer's codes equal to
yours, but that seems like an unnecessary effort if you could just
change the codes.
