Techwhirlers, especially those of you who post help-wanted messages,
I love seeing job postings on the list. I think a lot of us enjoy them. Even
if we aren't in the market, it's interesting to see what's going on out there.
There's just one problem. I often have to read to the end of a post before I
can find out where the job is. The location of a job makes a huge difference,
and IMO it should be posted in the subject line, like this: "Tech writer job, SF
Bay Area." This would be very helpful to actual job hunters as well as window
shoppers.
Others have asked job posters to do this. Sometimes they do. Eric, could you
make this suggestion part of the posting guidelines? Maybe that would help. At
least then it would be codified.
Keep on sending those help-wanted posts! They're great!
