we have much more efficient methods for that like not speaking English :-)

Seriously: Either your company heads go the ISO 9000 way or you don't. If your
company decides to get ISO 9000 certified, you will get assistance - if you
want it or not. Much of your task will then be to write down all those tasks
and procedures you have to remember now (and you will have forgotten when you
need them again). You will fill out forms and keep them for at least 10 years.
You will write check lists and USE THEM.

ISO 9000 is about saving money, but that will only work in bigger entities. It
will streamline routine tasks. You will be able to reconstruct things that
happened months or years ago.
