Solveig,
>>My first question--this seems too easy. Anything I should watch out for?

Yes, watch out for instructions on how to use the FrontPage Explorer.
Here you will have to import the HTML so that it can graphically track all the
links in the file and anticipate problems and show you what you have to look
at.

I took a while to sort out the Personal Web, but it appears to be worth it, so
far.

BTW, RTF is richer than HTML and it can carry the information that HTML files
need quite easily, don't forget to save as HTML.

>>guidelines on page width,
Test any tables or frames on VGA resolution.

>>background color,
Black text printed on light tint is an attractive marketing proposition, as
well as having high comprehensibility. However, colors on their tints are
extremely difficult to comprehend, they are also unattractive to the reader.

>>font size,
Sometimes you have to trust the users and their browsers on this one. If you
override anything, except perhaps headings, it may make things worse.

>>ways to do warnings
pass...
