TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
I am looking for anyone who is willing to send me an opinion on the
benefits of joining a list like this. Also, if you belong to another list
that benefits writers, technical or not, I'd appreciate hearing about it.
I was talking up the list in an advanced reporting class and most of the
people there were unaware of it. So, my final report addresses the advantages
of discussion lists and net magazines geared toward writers.
The report is done, but it's a reporting class--I need some quotes and
real people reaction to the subject matter.
Please mail me direct so as not to clutter up the list
Thanks
