Microsoft bought a company called, Software Tree, that produced a product
called SourceSafe. This is a document management product that maintains
files within a database structure and logs all changes and additions
by licensed user names. Source Safe is designed to reside on a networked
server or drive pool and it provides pull-down menus just like other
Window-based applications. It is also has password protection.
If you contact Microsoft, they will FAX you data sheets on the product.
