We were asked about software to track changes in a document,
and also comments.
WordPerfect 6.1 allows multiple comments with initials,
dates and time. They show up as icons until clicked and can
be placed anywhere in the document. It also does compare
files, based on compares of words, sentences, or
paragraphs, marking the changes in a variety of
user-configurable ways, which could vary from editor to
editor.
