I got this article from _Edupage_. This should clear up the
misunderstandings:
IBM FINALLY DOES WINDOWS
IBM became the last of the top 10 PC makers to sign Microsoft's
Windows 95 license, after waiting until Aug. 24 to do it. Big Blue
says it won't have the software installed on its machines until late
September. IBM also won't use Microsoft's logo in its advertising and
marketing campaign, which means that it's probably paying more for its
