Subject:Requirements Management/Documentation System From:Iain Harrison <iainh -at- CIX -dot- COMPULINK -dot- CO -dot- UK> Date:Fri, 18 Aug 1995 17:43:03 GMT
Some of my colleagues require a requirements management system (sometimes
called a Documentation management system). We need it to handle version
control, traceability, key elements, mapping and extraction. It is to run
on PC systems, probably.
For example, we need to have a facility for text used in one document
such as a scope document to be able to be extracted into another document
such as a specification, without duplication.
We've already had a demonstration of Doors. What other products are on
the market, what are people's experiences with these products, and where
can we contact the vendors?
Please email replies direct to me, as I'm away for a week's holiday, and
my newsfeed could lose messages from this group before I get back.
