For planning and estimating purposes, I use the following benchmarks:

User's guides: 4 pages/day, $400/day - $100/page
Technical reference guides: 3 pages/day, $400/day - $154/page
GUI translation: $1/word

I need some benchmark costs to translate:
Large manuals (300 to 500 pages) in Interleaf from Ammerican into German
(with computer terms etc. ) formatted back into Interleaf with page true
format.
