Have any of you noticed the superscript "sm" with a software product name
where one would expect TM? If so, do you know what it means and how it's
used?
It's called "Service Mark." It's used when the name doesn't refer so a
purchasable product. Perhaps it's linked to the fact that you aren't buying the
software, but only licensing it?
