Kimberley, I could be mistaken entirely, but I had a different impression
about the purpose of WP Presentations. I thought it was more of a
presentation graphics package on the lines of Microsoft's PowerPoint or
Corel's ShowTime. If so, it would be great for putting together simple
slide shows or creating transparencies, but isn't a comprehensive desktop
publishing package.

Once again, I would suggest that as a desktop publishing program, it would
be hard to beat FrameMaker. I don't know if filters are yet available to
move from WordPerfect directly into FrameMaker. We didn't have it on the
system where I was working last fall. To import WordPerfect files I had
to convert WordPerfect 6 files to WP 5.1 and then import. This meant a
bit more fine-tuning in FrameMaker, but it worked reasonably well for most
things.
