The McGraw-Hill Dictionary is available online from Online Computer Systems
of Germantown, MD in both single-user and network versions.

The reason I know this is that we are currently investigating dictionaries
right now, also. I use the hardbound McGraw-Hill and find it useful. My boss
(an engineer) feels that only about one fourth of the dictionary is
relevant to our work. It's a general dictionary with technical terms from
medicine, aerospace, ecology, etc. Probably a very good bet for a contractor,
but it might not be the best tool for a particular company's needs.
