Why call a spade a shovel? Chances are that your readers know what
"Release Notes" are and the kind of info they contain. In particular,
upgrade customers probably search for the release notes first (whatever
they're called), so why make it harder to find?

Yeah, "Release Notes." ;-)

Given that your release notes include installation instructions, though,
you might want to include that as a subtitle or such:

Release Notes <--big font size
including installation & upgrade instructions <-smaller size

Of course, your readers may not be like mine, so your mileage may
vary.
