I have to agree with David Dubin that "Click on the Name Button" is a better
choice than "Click the Name Button." It is simply a more accurate instruction.
If the button is a software function, than you cannot actually click "it." You
can, however, move the cursor onto the button and click the mouse. I think
this level of accuracy is what we are trying to achieve in all of our writing.
