Does anyone out there know of a company or an individual that would
let me and a colleague have access to a Sun workstation? We are writing
a book about a product that runs on different hardware platforms, and
we need to cover the Sun platform as well as the others available. The
problem is that we do not have access to one (we thought we had negotiated
access to one, but it fell through). We're already talking directly to
Sun, but we want to explore all possibilities in case another deal fell
through.
We'd need to use it for about the next six months, starting as soon as
possible. If you have any leads that I can follow, please let me know.
The individual or organization that provides access to the workstation
will receive full credit/acknowledgment in the book (plus whatever else
they can negotiate).
Sorry that I'm being so mysterious about the product, but I can't
really say due to contractural obligations.
Thanks in advance for your help.
