Maybe, maybe not. I am on several lists from which I *cannot* unsub,
nor can I find out who the listowner is. (I am not subbed from this
address, but from my university one.) Since I originally subbed to these
lists, the university's mailer has been reconfigured, and so mail I send
now doesn't have the same address it used to. This is not my fault, nor
is there anything I can do about it. In these days of constant machine
updates, I suspect that this happens a lot.

Laziness is *not* the only reason that people send notices to the list!
