Hello, WR-L-ers,

I want to say that to integrate product A and product B, they must both be enabled as clients or both be enabled as servers (not one product as the client and the other product as the server), via the compiler flags (which are all independent: prod_a_client, prod_a_server, prod_b_client, prod_b_server).

To reduce wordiness, Iâd like to use a group name that encompasses the terms client and server. I.e., I want to say, âto integrate product A and product B, you must define the same <group-name> flag.

There are all sorts of other possible wordings (âyou must define them both as clients or both as serversâ, for example), but now that Iâve started down this path, Iâd just like to know if there is a good group noun for clients-and-servers?

(And âpeerâ is definitely not it; all architecture discussions clearly show that client-server is distinct from peer-peer networks/communications.)

Just wondering,
-Monique
