I haven't read the whole thing but Print to Adobe crashes Frame and as I recall has done so at the last 2 or 3 jobs I've worked where I've used Frame (maybe since version 9 or 10).

We use Save as PDF.

Apologies if you've already discussed this or tried it with no success.
