While we're on the subject of freelancing, do all of you independent contractors have your own EINs or do you just use your social security number? I'm working on a few small freelance projects and my ultimate goal is to go full-time freelancer, but I'm not there yet and I want to avoid complicated multiple-times-a-year tax filing if possible, especially if my income is going to be sporadic and supplemental for the time being. Thanks!
