I like Richard's approach. I would probably do something like the following
(it's just semantics):

widget - manage widgets in the system using (or with) the following
sub-commands:
(insert Note symbol here and highlight the line) Click a sub-command to
learn more.

The only issue with this approach is that some people just don't read!
