Subject:RE: Google Chrome not working with WebHelp ? From:"McLauchlan, Kevin" <Kevin -dot- McLauchlan -at- safenet-inc -dot- com> To:Bill Swallow <techcommdood -at- gmail -dot- com> Date:Thu, 10 Jun 2010 10:03:31 -0400
Well, I have a smaller proportion of really dumb users. :-)
I do see your point for any product that's delivered in the
next little while, while people have the broken Chrome AND
are just receiving products with WebHelp for the first time.
Chrome works for everything else, and WebHelp isn't working,
so it must be the WebHelp that's busted.
However, from my perspective, we have far more units sold
and deployed in the field than we're likely to sell in the
next week or three. I don't know what proportion of those
existing users would be Chrome users, but I daresay that most of them
(being engineers and technicians and software developers mostly)
are bright enough to figure out that, if our WebHelp worked
last week/month/year, and it only went funny after the Google
Chrome update... then probably it's something about Chrome
that has changed.
