Subject:RE: Google Chrome not working with WebHelp ? From:"McLauchlan, Kevin" <Kevin -dot- McLauchlan -at- safenet-inc -dot- com> To:Bill Swallow <techcommdood -at- gmail -dot- com> Date:Wed, 9 Jun 2010 15:01:44 -0400
Woohoo! Now that's a fast response. Even the perennially
overly-solicitous MadCap hasn't had time to spring into action.
(I picture firefighters pulling on their heavy boots and coats
just as the alarm is cancelled. :-> )
If this works out, it nips a really serious problem in the bud.
Having Chrome broken for WebHelp would be an annoyance.
Having all the other browsers implement the same "fix" would
have been a retroactive emergency - there's a lot of previously
published WebHelp in the field that would have broken.
So, thank goodness JavaDocs are everywhere. It helps to be on
the same side as the 800 pound gorilla (the worldwide mass of
java developers).
