According to the BLS stats returned by Wolfram Alpha, the number of TWs
employed in the US oscillated during the Aughts between 44,750 and
46,750 -- which is actually a pretty tight range during a volatile time
in our field. Meanwhile, the average TW's wage rose during that same
period at an almost suspiciously steady rate, from just under $50,000 to
just over $60,000.

May the Teens bring us similar numbers!
