Hmmm.  Let me just adjust my deerstalker hat and parse that last 
sentence of yours.

You wouldn't happen to be married to a Federal or State (not one 
of the soon-to-bankrupt states) civil [dis]servant, would you? 

Not too many others can be so sure that their benefits and 
insurance are that secure.

PS: That was a rhetorical question, not real prying. Just making 
a point... but feel free to answer if it's not a sensitive question.
My own spouse is employed by another company (not civil service) 
and we get a bit of cross-coverage that our individual plans don't 
cover, but neither of us is any more sure of our continued coverage 
than we are of our continued employment.
