On the other hand,

I really enjoy working contracts. Better pay (in general), variety and
generally more of a challenge.

I have held (and currently hold) perm. positions and have no issue with them
at all. If I had the choice? I'd pick a good contract.

Disclaimer - I don't have to worry about benefits, etc. So that makes it
MUCH easier.
