Subject:merged TOCs not working in RoboHelp X3 From:"Ed Bushby" <ed -dot- bushby -at- pronto -dot- com -dot- au> To:<techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com> Date:Mon, 23 Mar 2009 17:33:18 +1100
Hi everyone,
Has anyone ever seen an issue with merged TOCs not displaying pages
correctly in a CHM?
Allow me to set the scene:
- We have half a dozen CHMs, all work fine. The TOCs work fine too,
i.e. you click on a book or a topic in the tree and the page is
displayed.
- We merge the CHMs into a master CHM, and all files are present, BUT
- The sub-TOCs, when clicked, now do not display the topics, i.e.
nothing happens.
We *think* some kind of corruption was introduced on the machine that
did the original CHM compiling, but not 100% sure. We have attempted to
recompile the original CHMs and the master CHM but this has not made a
difference.
Has anyone seen this before, and if so, does anyone know the solution?
Cheers,
Ed
