I kinda got a little bit of a Devil's Advocate thing going with this one
when the résumé sender in the example was applying for a job in wildlife
rehabilitation and not to write, although if writing was a part of the job,
then this can be an issue. Résumés should be error-free, but I like to see
a little bit of latitude for young people. A résumé filled with egregious
errors would require more than a _little bit_ of latitude; however, I think
that we should recognize that young people may not present themselves with
the competency-level of more mature adults.
