Good points, although my $0.02 is that this is part of
any job. Jobs aren't job descriptions. With luck,
they're an almost social collaboration called a team.
If someone needs to empty the trash, it's not sensible
to say "I am not a trash-emptier." Your company sounds
like a comfortable, flexible place to work.
