Thanks for these interesting answers,
I am writing about GSM/UMTS, and as someone mentioned there is a thin
line between the developers specs and what you can write in a user
guide.
As I said, I inherited this book from an outsourcer on whom I cannot
really rely (the book was so bad, I spend such a long time rewriting,
till I am sick of it, and it is still not good enough)
