We are trying to decide if the title of our state code should be italicized
in our documentation, e.g. Montana Code Annotated, Missouri Revised
Statutes, Idaho Code, etc.
I've looked at the Bluebook citation guide, CMOS, MLA, etc. CMOS 17.312 says
to italicize. Bluebook seemed to indicate you didn't have to. In our own
printed state code the title of the state code is not italicized, however,
the state financial statement decided to italicize references to the state
code.
Anyone else have to deal with this and found an answer?
