I recently moved to a new opportunity.
The company I left is one I had worked at for many years as employee,
then for a while as a freelancer.
Since then I'd done some other things, then returned as a 1099 contractor.
The work was challenging but not enough money. (when considering the
cost of being 1099!)
I gave them two weeks notice, and wished them the very best.
(who knows, I may work with them again!)
Now I'm working for an agency (W2) and at a higher rate than the 1099 was.
yay!
