So just out of curiosity, what certifications did your current
employer require you to have in order to be hired?

I'm a tech pubs manager, my job is probably 70% project
management and business processes. Nobody required any
certifications in either from me, either, beyond the assurances of some of my past bosses and clients that I
was good at it.

There was a discussion about a week ago on how to exceed 100k as a
tech writer. Make busines analysis and project planning more than 10%
of what you do. I'm a tech writer. I'm at $100,000.75. I can manage a
documentation project and I can do some business analysis.
