I'm not sure what you're doing, so it's hard to answer.

The SnagIt video is 17 x 12"? What is it of?

So, you take a image out of it using SnagIt, then insert in Frame at
full size. This suggests you're inserting it in FM at 17"x12" and then
resizing it with the graphic handles or Object Properties. What format
are you bringing it in as? Is it by reference?

In Photoshop, you resize it to 6" by what? How are you resizing it?

Blurry results in an image come from many things. A screen shot saved as
.JPG may have color problems. Too much of a resize may throw away too
much data or extrapolate too much. You get the best results by taking
the screen shot at close to the same size that you'll use in print, and
using .GIF or .TIFF format.

Also note that in FM, if you have the document zoomed in, you'll see
blurriness and aliasing. Before you despair, set the zoom level to 100%
and look at the image.

Advance apologies if this too far into the graphics realm, but it does
involve getting screen shots to look right in Frame.

Why is it that an image saved from a SnagIt video (17" wide x 12" tall)
looks fine in Frame if inserted at full size and then manually
downsized, but...if the image is first made the right size in Photoshop
(6" wide for my doc) and then inserted into frame, it is blurry?

Thanks.

best,
Paul
