Totally agree. Think of your docs as programmer source code. Would anyone
give the person making the request your programming language software and
allow them to "customize" the output? I hope not. Your documentation is just
like their code: a product produced by your company by a professional.
Strive for a balance between "control" and "providing your co-workers what
they need to do their job."
