Hello All,

Does anyone know how to add custom tables to
RoboHelp's Table gallery?

I've done this with an older version of RoboHelp about
4 years ago but it doesn't seem to work in X5. I'm
using RoboHelp X5 after a gap of 4 years of
non-RoboHelp work.

I don't remember the version of RoboHelp I used all
that time ago but I do remember the method I used:

1. Open a Robohelp topic, create the type of table I
want to re-use.

2. Go to \Program Files\RoboHelp
Office\RoboHTML\Gallery\tables.

3. Make a copy of one of the existing .htmtable files.

4. Open the copied .htmtable file using notepad.

5. Return to the RoboHelp topic where I created the
table, copy the html code from RoboHelp topic, paste
it into the copied .htmtable file.

6. Save the new .htmtable file with a new name.

The new table would show up in the list of table
templates that displays on choosing Table > Insert. It
used to work like charm but not any more.

Appreciate any pointers you can give me.

Thanks
Jay Rice
