Folks,

I checked the wiki-related postings in the TECHWR-L archive, but I
didn't find the answer to my question. If this has been addressed
before, sorry for bringing it up again. . . .

Can anyone recommend a good, free wiki hosting service? I'm looking to
create a fairly simple wiki and would prefer to focus more on content
and community than on backend operations, maintenance, etc.

There's a decent list of free hosting services at
http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Wiki_Science:How_to_start_a_Wiki. Without
digging too deeply, I thought Schtuff.com looked promising.

Thanks much,
