Hey all,

Some of you asked us Texas folks to chime in after the storm, so I'm letting you know the Dallas/Fort worth area (and most of Texas) escaped hurricane Rita.

I can only offer my sympathy and concern for those who were along Rita's path in East Texas and Louisiana. I'm grateful that the damange was far less than we feared, but saddened that many were affected by two massive hurricanes in succession.

Thanks to all of you who asked. If you need to respond, please do so off-list.

Happy writing,

Arroxane

PS--I don't feel guilty about the hurricane missing us this weekend... I spent it woking at a convention which donated $3500 to the Salvation Army for food, shelter, clothing, and necessities! :)
