Ryan,

I have some friends that are hardcore PC gamers and they _swear_ by the
ergonomic trackball devices. For accuracy, swiftness, and hand comfort
they claim it can't be beat. I've tried using trackballs before and I
just can't get comfortable with them--I always unplug the things and go
back to a mouse after an hour or so of use. But I've had co-workers in
other jobs that preferred the trackball device to a mouse, one or two
for repetitive-stress related issues. It might be something to
investigate:

Here's a list of links from Froogle (not sorted in any particular order)

Good luck.
